Packing Tips
- Sunscreen (it’s expensive at the resort!)
- Swimsuits, sunglasses (you’ll basically live in these).
- Bug spray or wipes – tropical vibes come with tropical critters.
- Your passport – don’t be that person at the airport.
- A light jacket or wrap – evenings could be breezy!
- Any medications or essentials you might need – pharmacies work differently in Mexico.
- A reusable Yeti cooler cup – the ultimate sidekick for soaking up the sun with an ice-cold drink in hand. Sip, chill, repeat!
- Guys – don’t forget at least one pair of long pants and closed-toe shoes for dinners!
Travel Notes
- Don’t forget to check your passport expiration date!
- Bring small bills (USD or pesos) for tipping resort staff – they’re amazing and deserve it!
Mission: Escape the Airport!
After customs, you’ll face a swarm of overzealous travel advisors. Just smile, say “No gracias,” and keep it moving. Do not stop inside the terminal’s arrival hall—anyone claiming to be your transportation provider is likely a timeshare sales rep. Your mission is to head straight outside and find Amstar Transportation—they’ll be in blue shirts and ready to get you to paradise!
Pro Tips
- Familiarize yourself with the airport and the location of your Amstar Representatives, select your arrival airport at https://www.amstardmc.com/en/airport-maps/ to see a helpful map.
- If your luggage is delayed, have one person from your group notify your Amstar rep or driver.
- The most important Pro Tip, grab a drink at the airport for your ride to the resort!
Thank You
We can’t wait to soak up the sun, dance under the stars, and make unforgettable memories with all of you. Thank you for being part of our celebration – it means the world to us!
Mucho love,
Stephanie & Scott
